About the CPD course
This session will offer lighting professionals an evidence-led foundation and practical framework to optimise dynamic human-centric lighting solutions with a focus on spectral tuning for circadian health. Following a brief overview of visual and non-visual response; this session will cover key measurements; standards and current recommendations; comparing Melanopic Lux; with the LRC framework and representation in the WELL standard. Learners will explore current debates on issues including geolocation and climate-based modeling; adjustments for age-related and other physiological changes and optimal cycles for shift work. We will conclude with future perspectives and practical implications for lighting design; specification and user engagement.
