About the CPD course

Clozapine is an antipsychotic drug which has some side effects that are not seen with other drugs in the class. This module looks at these clozapine-specific side effects. The module discusses some potentially life-threatening; but fortunately rare; side effects and how to identify these quickly. It then moves on to cover the identification of more common side effects which; although less serious; can have a profound effect on patient quality of life; and suggests potential options for managing them. The module uses scenarios to assess the user's understanding of the module content.
