About the CPD course

‘Making Sense of Autism in the Early Years’ is an awareness–raising module for all practitioners across a range of Early Years settings; including preschools; private; voluntary or independent nurseries; children centres and child minders. The aims of this module are to enable delegates to: Extend their understanding of how autism affects children in the Early Years. Increase their expertise in recognising a child’s individual strengths and differences across the three areas of difference. Develop their skills in identifying barriers to learning for autistic children. Develop their understanding of what “reasonable adjustments” need to be made to support autistic children.
