About the CPD course

This course covers advanced concepts of cyber security; including network security; cryptography; malware detection; incident response; risk assessment; and cyber security governance. The course includes a capstone project where students develop a comprehensive cybersecurity plan for a hypothetical organization. The assessment consists of four parts: a cyber security plan; a security awareness training program; a technical control implementation; and an incident response plan. Upon completion of the course; students will have a solid understanding of cyber security concepts and be able to apply this knowledge to protect organizations from cyber threats.
