About the CPD course
Dawsons’ workshop will provide ‘private client’ solicitors dealing in probate with a greater understanding of all aspects concerning the valuation and sale of chattels at auction. With regards to valuation, we will be focussing on the current issue of synthetic diamonds to highlight the need for auction houses to adopt a more science-led approach to valuing jewellery. Regarding the sale of chattels, the course will show how online bidding has changed the way auction houses now operate, and we will examine the various ways auctioneers can optimize their online presence to achieve the best possible outcome for the beneficiaries.
