About the CPD course

A PRP course provides comprehensive training in Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy; covering theory; practical applications; and patient care. Participants learn the scientific principles behind PRP; patient selection criteria; and injection techniques. Hands-on sessions allow for practice in blood extraction; PRP preparation; and injection procedures. Prerequisites: Medically qualified as a nurse; doctor or dentist with current registration with the NMC; GMC or GDC. NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent). 12 months of needling experience. Students must have completed training in phlebotomy and microneedling or mesotherapy and Level 4 Anatomy and Physiology.
