About the CPD course
This workshop session explores the changes to the EYFS in detail focusing on key areas such as: the layout and content of the new EYFS frameworks; the structure of the safeguarding and welfare requirements and the supporting documentation; legislation; and guidance. Through group activities and discussion; providers are supported to identify the actions they need to take to prepare; and to reflect on the implications for their day-to-day practice.
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
