This training supports attendees to understand what the Voice of the Child is. Learners will discover how to overcome any barriers to ‘hearing’ the Voice of the Child and learn about successful strategies and approaches which involve children’s participation and inclusion. Delegates will explore through discussion how the Voice of the Child is considered in relation to safeguarding and child protection. This course is suitable for managers; senior educators and early educators; home-based educators (childminding professionals) with assistants.
The Early Years Alliance is the largest and most representative early years membership organisation in England. We support early years providers to deliver quality, affordable and sustainable care and learning to families, and work to ensure that all children, regardless of background, are given the best possible start in life. The Alliance’s vision is a society where every child enjoys the same opportunity to learn through play. We believe families should be at the centre of policy-making and parents empowered to become more involved with their child’s learning and development.
