About the CPD course

The phlebotomy course is designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to safely and effectively collect blood samples from patients. The course covers essential topics such as anatomy and physiology related to phlebotomy; aseptic techniques; venipuncture sites; vein and artery identification; indications and contraindications; complications and post-procedure care. Participants will learn about proper equipment handling; patient identification; infection control and documentation. Practical training and hands-on experience are provided to develop proficiency in venipuncture techniques. Upon completion of the course participants will be equipped with the necessary competence to perform phlebotomy procedures in various healthcare settings.
