About the CPD course
This course is aimed at learners who are new to working with diabetes patients and would like an overview of the disease; diagnosis; and management. Led by a frontline clinician; these interactive sessions aim to improve clinical practice by; Discussing and reviewing best practice in diabetes Reviewing current guidelines around diagnosing diabetes. Exploring pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment pathways; Reflecting on local practice through self-directed learning tasks. This course involves two 2-hour webinars delivered six weeks apart. Following the first session; learners are asked to explore how they will apply their learning in practice and evaluate these outcomes in session 2.
