Nasogastric tube insertion and care

This training provides healthcare professionals with both knowledge and practical experience; including insertion techniques; management and care of both the equipment and the patient. Nasogastric training ensures workers have the correct clinical skills to provide excellent care and support for patients who may require treatment via NG tube. The course is delivered by qualified medical professionals with first-hand experience of working with NGT patients. The training will equip healthcare workers with the required theoretical and practical experience needed as a basis for in-work competency assessments.
