About the CPD course

This is a 5 day classroom based course or instructor led online course (theory and practice) that offers the opportunity to develop and critically evaluate specialist renal skills: knowledge and leadership behaviour that enhance renal service delivery. The course provides the same level of intensity as university courses: but with more focus on acquiring practical skills. Course content includes: Anatomy and physiology of kidneys Pathophysiology and diagnosis Acute Kidney Injury Legal and ethical issues Quality of life in renal care Long term complications of CKD Clinical leadership in renal care Renal Pharmacology The principles of dialysis Haemodialysis Peritoneal dialysis Transplantation.
