About the CPD course
3-hour teacher training for the Key Stage 1 Heads Up Kids® Wellbeing For The Classroom programme. HUK supports primary schools with social and emotional wellbeing through our wellbeing curriculum as well as training; support and development for teachers. This training will cover full instruction on programme delivery; embedding emotional literacy in the classroom and supporting the social and emotional needs of children in Key Stage 1. The Key themes covered are Emotional Literacy; Emotional Regulation; Getting On With Others and Positivity & Resilience. The training is experiential and interactive. PDFs of HUK Year 1 and Year 2 programmes are included.

Heads Up Kids
Heads Up Kids is a universal social and emotional wellbeing programme. A key outcome of the programme is that the skills that teachers and children begin to develop are not just confined to the classroom sessions but make an ongoing difference and impact on all areas of school life. Providing this opportunity creates a strong baseline for emotional literacy and positive mental health as well as helping to highlight those children who may require early intervention or support.
