Module 2: Identifying Socio-technical Barriers to Machine Learning in Practice
Online Course • Health Data Research
About the CPD course
Health data tools do not exist in a vacuum but have to interact with the human beings doing the work. The success of these tools hinges on them being adopted by professionals in the workplace: and the factors which influence this adoption are called "socio-technical factors". In this module: we will explore a toolkit that captures the data landscape of an organisation: and identifies the socio-technical barriers when embedding new tools and systems in existing patient pathways.
