An introduction to phlebotomy good practice and venepuncture practical techniques: including: relevant roles and legal responsibilities; anatomy of the circulatory system and veins; the location of suitable veins; and the venepuncture procedure. The course includes the opportunity to practice on vein blocks and training arms: before taking blood from a live volunteer.
