This course dives into several crucial discussions around Diversity; Equity and Inclusion when working in the performing arts. Exploring a range of case studies and examples from disciplines such as dance; music and theatre; we examine DEI in the initial planning stages of casting and programming; in preparation and rehearsal; and finally during performance itself. By the end of this course; you will be able to plan performance programmes with DEI in mind; improve your approach to inclusion with other performers and crew; and help audiences and performers to feel represented and included in performance spaces.
