This course is suitable for anyone who may need to carry out an Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) in their role; or to take a part in the process. We overview the legislation linked to the process and work through the process of developing a high-quality impact assessment. The course is very practical and allows time for discussions and questions.
I have worked with parents and children for over 20 years in a variety of roles. I am an experienced and dynamic leader who has worked both in the statutory and voluntary sector to manage projects from inception to delivery of challenging targets. I am an enthusiastic individual keen to motivate others and support them to develop to their full potential.
I have over 10 years of leadership and management experience. Alongside this I have had 20 years experience of training. I have developed my own programmes in response to identified training needs, and delivered accredited courses. Both in my paid work and voluntary roles, I work with community members, staff and partners and I have developed excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills to communicate at different levels. I source about 50% of my work directly with clients and for the other 50% am delighted to work with various training and consultancy companies, ensuring that my knowledge and professional development is always up to date.
