About the CPD course
PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) management course is aimed at nurses; carers and other health care professionals who are currently working in the community; for example; nursing homes; private homes and hospitals providing care to clients with PEG and managing them holistically. The course covers understanding the procedure of PEG; tube care; bolus or continuous feeding; flushing and giving medication; infection control and emergency awareness. Simulated competency assessments offered. Practical demonstration with manikin. Staff should feel more competent in delivering the care.
