This course will provide delegates with a universal/entry level knowledge of children’s safeguarding. Session will look at raising awareness of abuse types; how to identify them; provide clarification on basic duties under the legislation; while linking this to the specific settings to support knowledge application; including policies and reporting methods. This course can be tailored reflect the businesses and job roles of the delegates including education; day care hospitality/ leisure/ care facility establishment to out of school provision and voluntary sector organizations. This training can be delivered UK wide linking to regional/ county Safeguarding children’s boards for examples and awareness.
