Safe; Fair and Consistent Recruitment Practice When Employing People with Convictions in Northern Ireland

Training Course NIACRO

About the CPD course

Understanding the processes involved in recruiting people with convictions is complex. At NIACRO we believe that people’s previous convictions should not become an insurmountable barrier to future employment and associated settled lifestyles. In this training course we take employers through the key elements involved in the disclosure of criminal records to ensure recruitment processes are fair; legal and informed by best practice. Participants will increase knowledge and understanding of what is needed to fairly and appropriately manage recruitment processes involving the disclosure of criminal records.
