About the CPD course
Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference that impacts how children communicate and interact with others and their surroundings. While each child with autism is unique, there are gender differences in how it presents, resulting in girls often being overlooked and less likely to receive a diagnosis compared to boys. This 20-hour course combines online evidence-based content with at least two live tutoring sessions. It includes an authentic 'real-world' task that follows best practices, allowing participants to personalise their learning and apply it to work-based situations. Participants taking this course gain the necessary knowledge, understanding, and skills to effectively plan and implement targeted interventions, leading to improved learning outcomes for both neurodiverse girls and boys.
