About the CPD course
An assessed course for Independent Advocates supporting parents in Child Protection and the Family Courts. Independent Advocates are a familiar feature in Child Protection interventions and within the Family Courts. It is recognised and understood the value that Advocacy brings to all parties where vulnerable parents are involved in such activity involving their child(ren). This assessed training course aims to provide a framework to standardise knowledge; skills and experience of Independent Advocates to provide a more nationally consistent experience for parents and professionals. Entry requirement is completion of ‘Independent Advocacy in Child Protection and the Family Courts’ training course.
