All Wales Manual Handling Passport

The Manual Handling training course equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to safely handle loads and individuals in various settings. Over two days; attendees learn about the causes of musculoskeletal disorders; anatomy of the spine; risk assessment principles; and relevant legislation. Through interactive sessions; they practice techniques for lifting; carrying; and supporting individuals; ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting workplace safety. The course emphasises risk mitigation strategies; effective communication; and adherence to best practices; empowering participants to contribute to a safer working environment while reducing the risk of injuries.
