About the CPD course
The Ionising Radiations Regulations (Regulation 15) requires employees who are not working with X-ray equipment to be given suitable and proportionate information or instruction to avoid being unnecessarily exposed to ionising radiation. This course aims to provide a basic awareness of the X-ray radiation hazard for employees who are not involved in the use of chiropractic X-ray equipment. This course also aims to put the radiation risk into perspective and provides awareness of the arrangements present in chiropractic practices to help keep radiation doses as low as is reasonably practicable.
