About the CPD course
This trauma informed training; part of our Rise for Change training programme; focuses specifically on police services provision and provides the skills needed to respond safely to gender based domestic violence (GBDV). We empower attendees to support survivors from the moment of their disclosure of abuse; through to accessing specialist support. Culturally relevant content; practical tools and globally recognised best practice have all been included in the training; with special consideration of the existing demands on police officers and GBDV units.
