About the CPD course

This Oxplore Teach module introduces teachers and other educators to research about learners who are high-attaining at primary school and the rates at which they go on to become high attainers at secondary school and applicants to university. It demonstrates the importance of Key Stage 3 as a key point where young people from backgrounds of socio-economic disadvantage are more likely to see a drop in their attainment at school than their more-advantaged peers; and suggests some strategies that educators could use to support these pupils.
