This webinar is designed to highlight new laws and regulations imposing obligations on directors and officers in connection with environmental; social and governance (ESG) factors. It will look at how both new and pre-existing laws and regulations can be leveraged by plaintiffs and regulators to bring actions against companies and their boards. It will also look at some of the potential pitfalls surrounding proactive ESG measures; and discuss the backlash against ESG drivers in some parts of the U.S.. Finally; it will also consider how insurers are approaching ESG-related risks for directors’ and officers’ liability insurance.
