The UKRPA is a trade association open to companies involved in detecting and dealing with meter tampering and illegal abstraction of electricity and gas. In addition to quarterly Forum and Committee meetings, we host further Seminars, Conferences and Workshops which draw delegates from across the energy industry, as well as those external to the industry with an interest in the Revenue Protection and metering space, together to discuss key aspects/issues/potential best practice/collaboration opportunities. The biennial UKRPA National Revenue Protection Conference provides an exciting and valuable opportunity for our Members (and wider non-Members) to come together and discuss significant issues, changes or topical elements regarding energy theft and the industry. The two-day event includes consideration of the regulatory environment, the work Members carry out, and a wider range of factors and changes taking place that may be of interest or impact their work.
The next Conference is taking place on Wednesday 27th – Thursday 28th April 2022 at Ashorne Hill Conference Centre CV33 9QW. It will include a wide range of key speakers addressing exciting topics from mental and physical operative wellbeing and safety, essential industry progress and astonishing cases of energy theft, to maximising reporting quality, considering the consumer and preparing for future industry changes. Confirmed speakers currently include RECCo, the REC Code Manager, ElectraLink, Mental Health First Aid England, Cadent Gas, the Member of the REC Metering Expert Panel, British Gas, Gemserv, Haste, UKRPA Chair/Vice Chair, Ombudsman and Citizens Advice, Grosvenor, Smart DCC and Laura Sandys. Additional speakers are being approached. There are opportunities for sponsorship and exhibitor packages.
