The public health and environmental impact of the continued use of vehicles which emit CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) and NO2 (Nitrogen Dioxide) is well known. The Government is advancing its plans for the transition to a green; low emission economy at an ever-increasing rate. Most recently outlined in the March 2020 Decarbonising Transport Plan; which places a renewed emphasis on cleaner; greener public transport; increased physical transport; greater connectivity and a move away from the use of cars.
