The Royal Brompton / GSTT Preceptorship Programme is aimed at instructing front-line clinicians in high quality care for patients with PAH. Educational aims include: • PAH pathophysiology and epidemiology; • Early diagnosis of patients through screening and early recognition of symptoms; comprehensive assessment • Long-term management; including advanced PAH therapies and effective interaction with designated PH centres; and • Special management issues (congenital heart disease; pregnancy; perioperative management; in The above will be achieved through a 2-day program combining lectures; practical sessions (clinics; catheter lab) and interactive case-based discussions.
