3rd Energy & Competition Law Forum: Competition Law in the Energy Sector

About the event
Forum will talk about Member States called upon to screen foreign investment into the energy sector which may affect cross-border transactions. Then a panel will look at the Commissions plans to wield EU state aid policy and law as a series of sticks and carrots to transition the European economy out of fossil fuels. At last; a discussion about pros and cons of exchanges of information and cooperation that come to the forefront when analyzing IPCEIs compliance with traditional competition law while at the same time not restricting innovation and hindering the energy transition; will take place.
