About the event
Inaugural one day conference for those interested in understanding the complexity of the NHS workforce crisis from personal testimony to advice from experts such as our internationally acclaimed social justice expert; key note speaker Robin Di Angelo. The aim is to help increase literacy; agency; leadership and personal relations within the NHS workforce. The conference breaks down the by-products of dehumanisation; covering a wealth of challenging topics including Anti-racism; NHS privatisation; whistleblowing and learn not blame. Our concurrent creative exhibition of art and writing celebrates the many ways we can communicate and express our considered thoughts around this theme.
We are a strictly non-profit campaigning and lobbying organisation comprised of UK doctors and medical students. Our collective voice aims to be at the heart of policy making for health, engaging with the media outlets whose opinions inform the public. We advocate for both the medical profession and patients, and we fight for a better NHS.
