If a programme or project doesnt realise the planned benefits it cannot be considered successful. Accordingly; the principles; processes and practices of benefits management need to be better and more consistently applied. BS 202002:2023 Applying benefits management on portfolios; programmes and projects Guide was developed to meet this need and draws on experience from a range of different sectors including major projects that government delivers.
