Chaired by Dr Sean Preston; this educational summit will offer an important update from world-leading expert in gastroenterology and the human gut microbiome; Professor Eamonn Quigley; on the use of probiotics in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This will include an exploration of the mode of action and efficacy of specific probiotic strains; addressing the key question of how a probiotic can impact both gastrointestinal and psychological symptoms of IBS.
