This event is focused on delivering the mission and navigating through uncertain times. Housing associations and co-operatives have always had a strong social purpose at their heart; they tackle poverty every day; create thriving communities and provide stability to those who need it most. With political; financial and social upheaval; SFHA’s annual conference will explore how the sector can come together to meet these challenges and; crucially; how its leaders can continue to forge the way forward to a more socially just Scotland.
The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) is the national representative organisation for housing organisations and co-operatives in Scotland. Together, housing associations and co-operatives provide housing for almost half a million people, that’s 1 in every 11 households across Scotland. Our sector relies on good governance, competent and professional planning and service delivery along with sound financing, both for existing and new housing developments. Our aim is for a thriving housing association and co-operative sector, providing sustainable and affordable homes. We achieve this by supporting our members across Scotland through our Public Affairs, Business Development and Corporate Service teams and providing a unified voice for our members no matter large or small.
