About the event
You will hear how to provide a quicker; simpler and more streamlined complaint handling service. Update your knowledge on the NHS Complaint Standards and understand how to manage complaints alongside the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF). Develop your skills to achieve early resolution; prevent unnecessary escalation; empathise with patients and understand sources of concern. We will cover ways to handle highly emotive situations where anger and distress may be present. Our trainer will guide you through different methods of communication to proactively involve patients; families; and staff. Identify the learnings from complaints and safety incidents to make improvements. Build trust with service users; wider system stakeholders and regulators.
