About the event
This conference will focus on meeting children’s emerging special educational needs and aims to help early years practitioners: gain an insight into current perceptions of special educational needs and the principles of best practice navigate the route from ‘first observation’ to ‘personalised plan' make the most of current funding; support systems and training establish an effective relationship with a child’s family develop their understanding of a child’s well-being; and typical and atypical patterns of development find out more about high-incidence SEND; principally language development; sensory processing; aspects of physical development and unmet attachment needs.
