Preventing Burnout in Health & Social Care Professions

In light of recent research studies from both the General Medical Council and the University of Manchester/ the concerning issue of burnout in medical staff and its relationship with lower professional standards; staff absence; early retirement and recruitment shortages continue to be a major challenge for the NHS and social care providers. This innovative masterclass seeks to focus on a number interconnecting issues that are likely to be present: the issue of declining physical and mental health and how it impacts on performance and capability; the issue of stigma and how this relates to absenteeism and early retirement.
