Adobe products are essential to the work done by animators, graphics designers, web developers through to publishers and advertisers. Adobe product knowledge and training is also valuable for professional photographers, photo editors, art and creative directors, digital marketing specialists, social media marketers and communications specialists.
Different Adobe software on the market
Adobe has a range of different software products available to suit different requirements. These include Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat Reader, etc. We will provide an introduction to some of the different Adobe products below.
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editor software and has become the industry standard for digital art and graphics editing. Adobe Photoshop enables a user to use drawing; painting; measuring tools as well typing and retouching of images.
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor and design software product. Adobe Illustrator enables a user to create, and manipulate objects or artworks, including drawing, typing, painting, reshaping, slicing and cutting vector graphics.
Adobe Document Cloud
Adobe Document Cloud is a free service from Adobe that helps you to store and share PDF files in the cloud and to access them from anywhere. Adobe Document Cloud provides integration with other Adobe tools to fill and sign forms electronically where required. The product offers 2GB of free storage.
Adobe InDesign
Adobe InDesign is a really useful desktop publishing and document designing software. Adobe InDesign is used to create and design literature pieces such as leaflets, work brochures, flyers, posters, books, magazines, newspapers, presentations. Most people that use Adobe InDesign work in the field of graphics design.
Adobe Lightroom
Adobe Lightroom is primarily used to import, save, view, organise, tag, edit and sharing large numbers of digital images. Adobe Lightroom provides an editing function which includes tone, colour grading, white balance, HSL, lens corrections and calibration manipulation. Adobe Lightroom can also help with general image transformation such as spot removal, red eye correction, filters, and adjustment brushing.
Adobe Dreamweaver
Adobe Dreamweaver is a web development product used to design and develop websites. Dreamweaver is considered a helpful website design and development tool as it allows users to publish their website design directly to an external web server using an integrated file transfer function. Adobe Dreamweaver can help to simplify some of the more complex parts of website development.
Adobe Animate
Adobe Animate is a computer animation product used to design animations websites, television programs, computer games, and other interactive projects such as online and tv commercials.
