We have been asking our members from across the industries the reasons why they became a CPD provider. This CPD Member case study was provided by UES Education. For more information, please visit their CPD Member Directory page.

Please provide us with a brief overview of your organisation. What do you do?

We support around 200 UK schools and help over 800 students a year through international university applications. We cover all aspects of the process, from choosing colleges and sourcing funding, to writing essays and getting admitted, as well as expert tuition and courses for the entrance tests: the SAT and ACT. We pride themselves on communication: between families, schools, consultants and universities, and we are leaders in the international networks of advisors.

Why did you become a CPD provider?

To provide assurance to teachers that we are experts in our field and take the quality of our training very seriously. There is little oversight in our industry, and we want to change that.

How did you implement CPD accreditation in your organisation?

We had our biannual US applications teacher training CPD certified.

How has CPD helped your organisation achieve its learning objectives?

It's helped us structure our training carefully and align it to clear objectives.

We hope this brief CPD Member Case Study was both interesting and helpful. Please go to the UES Education CPD Member profile page for more on their available CPD. Alternatively, please visit the CPD Industry Hubs to find courses, events and articles relevant to your Continuing Professional Development requirements.
