Nurture Practitioner (Sylvia Lucas) Programme

5 x 3 hour plus 15 minute module training programmes to enhance teachers and practitioners’ knowledge to deliver an inclusive; developmentally led; trauma sensitive; nurture approach in the classroom or nurture group. Practitioners will learn about the neuroscience of the six nurture principles for learning. They will be able to confidently use them as a framework for learning in the classroom. They will have access to the Digital Developmental Portrait which will help them support the developmental needs of the children and young people in order that they can achieve their potential in a an emotionally safe environment.
