About the CPD course

The Nuffield Early Language Intervention - Preschool is an oral language intervention for all children in preschool and providing additional targeted support for children who show weaknesses in their oral language skills. These children are at risk of experiencing difficulty with reading. The programme aims to improve spoken language skills such as vocabulary; storytelling and listening skills. It is delivered over 20 weeks and revolves around shared interactive storybook reading and guided play. This training course guides you through the practical elements of NELI Preschool and an overall look at language development; its importance and why early intervention is critical.
