About the CPD course
Assessing vulnerability has become a key issue in debt recovery over the last twenty-five years and has been a statutory duty for enforcement agents since 2014. Legislation gives no precise definition of the term; which often leads to uncertainty about its scope. Whilst a list of categories permits quick decision-making; finance industry experience shows that vulnerability should be understood as a process; not as a label; and that creditors and agents can create it just as much as recognise it.

Shelter
Shelter tackles the root causes of the housing crisis by challenging the people in power to make our vision of a home for everyone a reality. We lobby the government and local authorities for new laws and policies, and more investment, to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people.
