Certificate in Personal Care in Nurseries and Early Years
Online Course • The National College
About the CPD course
Within the EYFS statutory framework, personal care is ‘helping a child for reasons of age, illness or disability, with eating or drinking, or in connection with toileting, washing, bathing and dressing’, encompassing intimate and non-intimate personal care. With good practice and robust safeguarding structures in place, providing personal care can be a time for early years practitioners to promote development, safety and emotional resilience.
Developed by Kim Martin, an early years consultant and an Ofsted regulated and advisory inspector, this Essential CPD course will provide you with the knowledge and awareness of developing personal care in children and young people.
