About the CPD course
In this course you will be introduced to basic knowledge around mental health to include stress; anxiety and depression. This course will help you to identify some of the signs and symptoms and understand how having awareness of our own emotional wellbeing and that of those people around us; will support us to challenge stigma and encourage getting help.
Through organised actions to bring about changes in policy, behaviour and culture we will achieve our vision of mental wellbeing for all. By providing training as part of workforce and student development, we will embed the challenging of misconceptions and promote mental health from a positive standpoint. We work collaboratively within communities utilising peer support and asset based approaches to overcome barriers to mental wellbeing, impacting behaviour change and achieving self care by promoting resilience skills.
