About the CPD course

The built environment, of which the construction sector is a crucial component, currently contributes some 40% of the UK’s carbon emissions, and it is estimated that the construction sector alone contributes up to 11% of global carbon emissions. To lower emissions from the construction sector, changes need to be implemented, such as more holistic and efficient building designs, reusing building materials wherever possible and using non-fossil fuel-powered machinery. Developed in close collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University and certified by CPD, we have meticulously crafted this course to address the unique challenges and opportunities that the Construction Sector faces in combating climate change.
