About the CPD course
This Foundation level course is an introduction to domestic abuse and has been created to increase the early identification domestic abuse in housing settings. It will enable delegates to identify the dynamics of domestic abuse and coercive & controlling behaviours. This course will give housing practitioners the confidence to identify domestic abuse and pass concerns they have to specialist response teams.

Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA)
The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) was established in 2014 as a partnership between Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse (STADA), Gentoo and Peabody housing associations. We are the leading specialist domestic abuse organisation offering training suitable for local authorities and social housing providers to improve their response to domestic abuse. We use our practice-based experience to work alongside partners across the housing and domestic abuse sector to influence policy and national decision making through our DAHA-led National Domestic Abuse & Housing Policy and Practice Group.
